“After last october’s release of their first LP, today, the expected new production by Spanish duo Lowlight, is delivered. The EP has three tracks that represent a statement of intent. The first cut, Long Live A$AP (Lwlght trap remix), is a reinterpretation of the namesake song by A$AP Rocky, one of the most important artists worldwide nowadays. The next ones, two trap versions of Push the feeling on by Nightcrawlers and Sad day by Muddy Waters, reveal anything but the ambitious challenge they’ve set to themselves; updating the 90’s hit and taking the classic blues out of its context.
The title, Crossova, pays homenage to the sets that for almost a year they’ve been making in different spots of Madrid’s night culture and symbolizes the eclecticism of its musical selections.
Last but not least, we should keep an eye on the refined appearance of the artwork done by Alberto Carballido, regular contributor to the Lowlight brand."
